Obverse description Hammered silver flan of irregular fabric bearing the Arabic tughra-style legend of Sultan Mehmed IV disposed across the field in two horizontal lines. The inscription, reading 'Sultan Mehmed' in Arabic script, is rendered in a bold, archaic hand typical of mid-seventeenth-century Ottoman provincial coinage. The field is flat and unbordered, with characteristic hammer-strike undulations visible across the surface. A post-mint hole is present at the left, indicating secondary use as a pendant or ornament. The overall style is consistent with the Egyptian provincial mint output of the period.
