Paisa - Gopal Singh Swastika Type; Overstruck

Jhabua was a small Rajput-ruled state in the Malwa region whose coinage authority was tightly constrained by its subsidiary alliance with the British. The Gopal Singh issues date to the reign of Rao Gopal Singh and are among the more distinctive products of a state that rarely commanded numismatic attention.
