Obverse description Facing head of a roaring lion turned slightly to the left, rendered in a bold, archaic style characteristic of Lycian coinage of the late fifth and early fourth centuries BC. The open jaws reveal prominent teeth, and the mane is indicated by radiating striated locks encircling the face. The eyes are rendered in relief, and the overall composition fills the flan with vigorous plasticity. No legend or inscription appears in the field.

Reverse description A triskeles motif occupies the central field, consisting of three curved legs radiating from a central boss, rendered with fluid, spiralling lines in a style typical of Lycian dynastic coinage. Lycian alphabetic characters forming the dynastic name Zämur (identifying the issuing dynast or mint city of Limyra) are disposed around the device in the field. The design is set within a plain circular border, and the overall workmanship reflects the refined yet compact artistry of fourth-century BC Lycian silver.
