Obverse description Facing bull's head rendered in high relief, with prominent curved horns, wide-set eyes, and naturalistic musculature. The face is depicted frontally with fine engraving of the muzzle and nostril detail. To the lower right of the bull's head, a small incuse circle is visible in the field, likely a control mark. The monogram ΦΟ appears in the field, serving as the ethnic abbreviation for the Phokian federal authority. The style is characteristic of the bold, expressive die work associated with Central Greek minting of the late fifth century BC.
