背面描述 A triskeles composed of three interlocked serpentine legs in dynamic rotational arrangement, set within a recessed incuse square. To the upper left within the square, a Corinthian helmet facing right is depicted in relief. Lycian alphabetic inscription appears to the right of the central device within the incuse square, reading as the dynast's name Mithrapata. The bold, well-executed design is characteristic of the dynastic coinage of Lycia dating to the late fifth and early fourth centuries BC.

附加信息

Mithrapata was among the most powerful of the Lycian dynasts, controlling a territory centered around Faselис and the surrounding region during a period when Lycia sat uneasily between Persian administrative authority and local ambitions. His name — combining the Iranian "Mithra" with "pata" — reflects the Persian cultural overlay common among Lycian ruling families of the period, though his coins were struck to local Lycian standards rather than Persian ones.

The Müseler reference without a trailing catalogue number suggests this piece may fall into an incompletely documented subgroup within the series.
