Obverse description Bearded head of Herakles facing left, clad in the Nemean lion skin headdress, the scalp and forepaws rendered in relief with characteristic archaic vigor. The facial features display the bold, slightly stylized modeling typical of Cilician coinage of the late fifth century BC. The flan is irregular, with the design centered within the available field.
