Obverse description Female figure seated to the right in a kneeling or crouching posture, rendered in archaic relief typical of Cilician coinage of the late fifth century BC. The figure appears nude or lightly draped, with the upper body turned slightly toward the viewer. The irregular flan and rough field are characteristic of the hand-struck silver coinage of the Issos mint. The die work is bold but somewhat crude, reflecting provincial workshop production.

Reverse description A griffin passant to the left occupies the central field, depicted with spread wings, leonine hindquarters, and an eagle's head with open beak, rendered in bold archaic style. Above the griffin, Aramaic letters appear in the upper field. The composition is vigorous and well-centered for the small flan, consistent with Cilician satrapal coinage of the period. The overall style reflects the hybrid Greco-Persian artistic tradition prevalent in fifth-century Cilicia.
