Obverse description Two male facing heads side by side, rendered in archaic style; the left head faces fully forward with stylized curly hair, while the right head is slightly turned, also facing forward. The dual-head motif is characteristic of Istrian coinage and likely references the twin nature of the Danube river mouth. The facial features are boldly struck in high relief with simplified, almost schematic detail typical of early Black Sea Greek coinage. The field is plain with no surrounding legend.
