| Additional information |
Pharkadon was a minor Thessalian polis in the Hestiaeotis region, and its independent coinage output was extremely limited — this obol represents one of the few confirmed emissions the city produced before being absorbed into the broader political currents of Thessalian league dominance. The BCD Thessaly collection, assembled by a single dedicated collector over decades, remains the definitive reference for issues this obscure; without it, attributions like this one would be nearly impossible to confirm.
