This GLORIA ROMANORVM type, emblematic of Valentinianic bronze coinage, conveys Roman martial dominance over foreign enemies. The field bears the officina mark O - F II, and the exergue carries the mint mark of Lugdunum. The surrounding legend is divided GLORIA RO-MANORVM, proclaiming the Glory of the Romans. |
