The cuirass and drapery are clearly articulated at the shoulder, lending the portrait a martial authority characteristic of the Tetrarchic period. The circumferential Latin legend reads IMP SEVERVS PIVS FELIX AVG, partially visible around the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits heavy green patination consistent with prolonged burial, with the portrait retaining good relief despite surface encrustation.
