| Beschrijving keerzijde | The personification of Victory is depicted advancing to the left in a long flowing garment, her wings spread behind her in the convention of late Roman imperial coinage. In her right hand she extends a wreath and in her left she carries a palm branch, both canonical attributes of the Victoria type. The legend VICTOR-IA AVGG frames the field, divided across the upper register. The mint mark, indicating the Lugdunum officina (LVGP or LVGS), appears in the exergue below the figure. |
