In his outstretched right hand he holds a small figure of Victory standing on a globe, while his left hand leans upon a long vertical sceptre. To the left of Jupiter, an eagle stands with outspread wings holding a wreath in its beak, serving as the god's divine companion. The mintmark appears in the exergue between two dots, followed by the officina letter and a closing dot, identifying the Thessalonica mint. |
