| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Licinius I facing right, rendered in the vigorous Tetrarchic style with finely detailed hair and beard. The emperor's effigy displays a prominent laurel wreath, broad neck, and characteristic square-jawed portraiture of the period. The circular Latin legend runs along the periphery within a beaded border. The bust is depicted with paludamentum visible at the truncation, conveying imperial military authority. |

| Reverse description | Jupiter, nude with a chlamys draped over his left shoulder, stands facing left in a commanding pose. In his outstretched right hand he holds a small figure of Victory standing on a globe, while his left hand leans upon a long vertical sceptre. To the left of Jupiter, an eagle stands with outspread wings holding a wreath in its beak, serving as the god's divine companion. The mintmark appears in the exergue between two dots, followed by the officina letter and a closing dot, identifying the Thessalonica mint. |
