| 背面描述 | Central field occupied by a votive inscription in two lines enclosed within a laurel wreath tied at the base, commemorating Gratian's fifteenth vow and wishing for his twentieth anniversary — a standard formula of imperial loyalty and dynastic celebration. The mintmark of the Rome mint, preceded by the officina letter, appears in the exergue below the wreath. The reverse, heavily corroded and patinated, renders both the wreath tying and the exergual mintmark difficult to read on this particular specimen. |
