Descrizione del rovescio	A plain Latin cross occupies the central field of the reverse, rendered in simple, bold relief consistent with the hammered provincial coinage of late antique Sardinia. The cross is unadorned and centrally placed, with no surrounding legend or exergual inscription. The flan is irregular and the striking is characteristic of the rudimentary mint production associated with Godas's brief rule in 533.

Informazioni aggiuntive	Godas was a Vandal officer appointed governor of Sardinia who, in 533, broke from the Vandal kingdom and sent envoys to Constantinople requesting Byzantine military support. His rebellion forced the Vandal king Gelimer to divert naval resources to Sardinia — a strategic miscalculation that left North Africa exposed precisely when Belisarius landed with his invasion fleet. Godas was dead and his revolt crushed within months, making his coinage one of the shortest-lived autonomous issues of the Migration Period.
