Beschrijving voorzijde Laureate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Diocletian facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed engraving typical of the Tetrarchic period. The emperor's bearded effigy displays a radiate laurel wreath with ribbon ties visible at the nape, and articulated lorica segmentata with a paludamentum draped over the left shoulder. The Latin legend IMP C DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG runs clockwise around the periphery, contained within a beaded border. The portrait conveys the strong, martial character characteristic of Tetrarchic imperial imagery, emphasizing authority and divine favour.

Beschrijving keerzijde The Genius of the Roman People (Genius Populi Romani) stands facing left, depicted as a youthful nude male figure wearing a modius (grain measure) on his head, with a chlamys draped over his left shoulder and falling behind. In his extended right hand he holds a patera over a low altar, symbolising sacrifice and divine favour, while his left hand grasps a cornucopiae, emblematic of abundance. The Latin legend GENIO POPV-LI ROMANI is distributed across the reverse field, and the mintmark LON appears in the exergue, identifying the Londinium (London) mint. The composition is framed within a beaded border consistent with Tetrarchic follis coinage.
