The Latin legend SECVRITAS REI P (Securitas Rei Publicae — Security of the State) surrounds the figure, with a mint mark in the exergue denoting the Rome officina. The reverse type, associated with RIC VIII Rome 15, was struck between AD 337 and 340. |
