| Beschrijving keerzijde | Roma, the personification of the city of Rome, stands facing left in the field, helmeted and turreted, wearing military attire and a long robe. She holds a long reversed spear or scepter in her left hand and rests her right hand on a shield set upon the ground. The Latin legend SECVRITAS REI P (Securitas Rei Publicae — Security of the State) surrounds the figure, with a mint mark in the exergue denoting the Rome officina. The reverse type, associated with RIC VIII Rome 15, was struck between AD 337 and 340. |
