Obverse description Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing right, wearing a pearl diadem with a prominent rosette at center. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the late Constantinian style, with detailed hair combed forward beneath the diadem and military paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The Latin legend D N FL CONSTANTIVS AVG runs around the periphery of the flan, partially visible on this irregularly struck specimen. The flan shows characteristic green patination over a brown bronze surface.
