| Obverse description | Right-facing bust of Constantius II rendered in late Roman imperial style, pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed. The emperor's effigy displays finely engraved paludamentum folds over the cuirass, with the diadem of pearls clearly visible across the brow. The portrait is rendered with characteristic late Constantinian stylization, showing a youthful idealized face with large eyes. The encircling Latin legend runs from lower left to lower right, divided by the bust. |
