| 背面描述 | The reverse depicts Emperor Constantius II, draped and cuirassed, standing left upon a galley, holding in his right hand a globe surmounted by a phoenix — symbolising the renewal of the age — and in his left hand a military standard bearing a Chi-Rho christogram on its vexillum. A seated Victory acts as helmsman at the stern, steering the vessel. The exergue bears the officina letter and mintmark of Arelate, preceded by a dot. The surrounding legend FEL TEMP - REPARATIO proclaims the restoration of prosperous times, a celebrated type of the mid-fourth-century Roman coinage reform. |
