A seated Victory acts as helmsman at the stern, steering the vessel. The exergue bears the officina letter and mintmark of Arelate, preceded by a dot. The surrounding legend FEL TEMP - REPARATIO proclaims the restoration of prosperous times, a celebrated type of the mid-fourth-century Roman coinage reform. |
