| Reverse description | A two-turreted camp gate with an arched central doorway rendered in careful detail, its coursed masonry blocks clearly delineated across the facade; a six-pointed star appears in the upper field between the two turrets, symbolising divine favour and imperial foresight. The encircling legend PROVIDEN - TIAE CAESS proclaims the Providence of the Caesars, a propagandistic assertion of dynastic legitimacy. The exergue carries the mint mark ΔSIS∈ (or ΔSISŬ), denoting the fourth officina of the Siscia mint. |
