| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine I facing right, with a draped paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The emperor is depicted in a robust, authoritative manner typical of early Constantinian portraiture. The circumferential Latin legend IMP CONSTANTINVS P F AVG runs around the bust, identifying the emperor with his full imperial titulature. The flan is slightly irregular, and the surfaces show a green patina consistent with extended burial. |

The circumferential legend SOLI INVICTO COMITI proclaims Sol as the companion of the emperor, a key religious motif of the Constantinian era.
