| Descrizione del rovescio | Mars advancing briskly to the right, depicted helmeted and essentially nude save for a military cloak (chlamys) draped over his shoulders and billowing dramatically behind him. The god holds a transverse spear in his right hand and bears a large round shield on his left arm. Field letters appear to either side of the figure, and the mintmark is struck in the exergue below a ground line, identifying the Treveri mint and its first officina. |
