| Descrizione del rovescio | Two helmeted soldiers standing facing one another in full military attire, each resting their inner hand on a grounded spear and their outer hand on a shield set at their feet. Between them stand two vexilla (military standards) surmounted by eagle finials, with a central Chi-Rho or round medallion device on the standards. The reverse legend GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS ('Glory of the Army') is distributed in the field to left and right within a beaded border. The mint mark SMANA appears in the exergue, identifying this as a product of the first officina of the Antioch mint, with S(acra) M(oneta) AN(tiochia) A denoting the workshop. |
