The reverse legend GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS ('Glory of the Army') is distributed in the field to left and right within a beaded border. The mint mark SMANA appears in the exergue, identifying this as a product of the first officina of the Antioch mint, with S(acra) M(oneta) AN(tiochia) A denoting the workshop.
