He holds a patera in his extended right hand for libation, and a cornucopia in his left hand, symbolizing abundance and divine favour. In the reverse field, the legend GENIO POP ROM is divided on either side of the figure, with the mintmark PLG (Prima Lugdunensis officina) and the letter N inscribed in the exergue, indicating production at the first workshop of the Lugdunum mint. |
