| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate and draped bust of Constantine I as Caesar, facing right, with paludamentum (military cloak) fastened at the shoulder, rendered in three-quarter forward perspective. The obverse legend is inscribed in Latin around the bust, identifying the subject by his full title. The portrait displays the vigorous, idealized style characteristic of early Tetrarchic and post-Tetrarchic imperial coinage from the Lugdunum mint. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The Genius of the Roman People (Genius Populi Romani) stands facing left, nude but for a himation draped over the left shoulder and arm, wearing the modius (grain measure crown) on his head. He holds a patera in his extended right hand for libation, and a cornucopia in his left hand, symbolizing abundance and divine favour. In the reverse field, the legend GENIO POP ROM is divided on either side of the figure, with the mintmark PLG (Prima Lugdunensis officina) and the letter N inscribed in the exergue, indicating production at the first workshop of the Lugdunum mint. |
