Reverse description Winged Victory, draped, standing left upon the prow of a galley (rostrum), holding a long spear in the right hand and resting a large round shield upon the left. The composition evokes Rome's naval supremacy and imperial triumph, rendered in the flat, stylized idiom characteristic of Constantinian bronzes. The exergue bears the mint mark SMANI, denoting the Antioch mint, tenth officina. No reverse legend appears beyond the mint mark in the exergue.
