附加信息	Sybaris was destroyed by Kroton in 510 BC, its population drowned in the diverted river Krathis. The city refounded on or near the same site — typically called Sybaris-on-the-Traeis or simply the later Sybaris — made several attempts at revival before Thurii was established there in 444/3 BC with Athenian backing, effectively absorbing whatever remained of the Sybarite population. Coinage attributed to this post-destruction Sybaris is poorly documented and chronologically difficult; the HN Italy gap in the reference field is telling. These issues likely circulated within a narrow geographic pocket for a very short window before Thurioi's mint superseded them entirely.
