| Description de l’avers | The central field features a large high-relief reproduction of a medieval denarius from the Krakow Mint, displaying the Angevin coat of arms with Hungarian dynastic stripes on the left and family lilies on the right, surmounted by the letter H for Hedwig (Jadwiga). Above the coin in the upper field, a Polish eagle in relief is modeled after the reverse of the depicted denarius. A Latin circular legend runs along the entire rim of the medal. |

| Description du revers | The reverse depicts Queen Jadwiga enthroned in high relief beneath a Gothic canopy, crowned and holding royal regalia, inspired by her majestic seal. To the left stand two scholarly figures holding a scroll, symbolizing the renewal of the Jagiellonian University; to the right, three kneeling supplicants stretch out their hands, representing the queen's charity. Flanking the throne are two heraldic shields — the Polish eagle on the left and the Hungarian Angevin arms on the right — while a Latin legend and the maker's inscription appear in the lower field. |
