Reverse description The reverse depicts Queen Jadwiga enthroned in high relief beneath a Gothic canopy, crowned and holding royal regalia, inspired by her majestic seal. To the left stand two scholarly figures holding a scroll, symbolizing the renewal of the Jagiellonian University; to the right, three kneeling supplicants stretch out their hands, representing the queen's charity. Flanking the throne are two heraldic shields — the Polish eagle on the left and the Hungarian Angevin arms on the right — while a Latin legend and the maker's inscription appear in the lower field.
