| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse features a proof-finish black field within a shaped cartouche border. At the top centre is a bust-length effigy of Grand Duke Vladimir the Baptist shown frontally with a halo and Orthodox cross, flanked by his name and title in the legend. Below, in high relief against the dark field, stand three full-length figures of Grand Dukes Rurik (left, with bow), Igor (centre, with spear and shield), and Svyatoslav (right, with spear), each identified by inscription. The lower segment of the rim carries two symmetrical heraldic shields each set against crossed sword and axe motifs. |
