Flanking the bust in the inner field are his birth details (CHOLUTECA 09 OCT. 1781) to the left and death details (SAN VICENTE 18 JUNIO 1850) to the right, accompanied by his facsimile signature below; the fineness and weight notation appear at lower right. The outer legend reads PRIMER JEFE SUPREMO DEL ESTADO DE HONDURAS at the top and the quote 'He Sacrificado Todo a La Patria' at the bottom, both separated by five-pointed stars. |
