| Descrizione del rovescio | In the field, a radiant celestial Genius wearing a star-strewn garment and a crown emitting long rays presents the newborn Crown Prince to Dania, a veiled female figure seated upon a recumbent lion. The lion holds a crowned oval shield bearing the arms of Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Dania reaches forward to receive the child while the Genius simultaneously touches her with a radiant scepter. In the lower field a broken Hermes lies beneath the group. The engraver's initials M.G.A. appear on the ground line. A Latin inscription occupies the upper legend, and a three-line dedication with the prince's birth date fills the exergue. |
