| 背面描述 | The reverse displays an Arabic legend in five lines filling the field, reading 'Salim / Shah / ibn / Sulayman / Khan / 'Azza Nasruhu' (Selim Shah, son of Suleyman Khan, may his victory be glorified). The inscription constitutes the full royal titulature of Sultan Selim II, son of Suleyman the Magnificent, rendered in bold, deeply struck Naskh script. The pious honorific formula 'Azza Nasruhu' appears in the lowermost line as is standard on Ottoman coinage of this period. The flan is thick and irregular, consistent with hammered provincial mint production at Misr (Cairo). |
