| Reverse description | Reverse field filled with a multi-line Arabic-script legend occupying the entire flan, executed in hammered Ottoman calligraphy. The inscription bears the pious formula and mint declaration typical of Ottoman copper manghirs of the 15th century. The legend reads 'Hallede mülkehu, duribe Engüriye' (May his reign be everlasting, struck in Ankara). The strike is slightly weak in areas, consistent with hand-hammered production on an irregular planchet, and the surface shows characteristic olive-brown patination. |
