Obverse description Central vignette presents an oval medallion portrait of George Gordon Byron, 6th Baron Byron, rendered after the celebrated oil on canvas by Thomas Phillips in which the poet is dressed in traditional Albanian attire. The portrait is executed in intaglio and positioned at the centre of the note face. The surrounding field carries specimen overprints and serial zeros consistent with a Super Cope Specimen test note.

Reverse description The principal vignette presents a panoramic view of Lausanne Cathedral rising above the rooftops of the Swiss city of Lausanne in the canton of Vaud, rendered with fine line engraving. The architectural composition is set within a decorative frame, complemented by guilloche underprint work across the note field. Specimen overprints and zero serial numbers confirm the Super Cope Specimen status of this trial piece.
