背面描述	Facing bust of the eponymous nymph Segesta in right profile, her hair swept up into a krobylos and secured by a pearl diadem, rendered in the elegant archaic style characteristic of early Sicilian coinage. The portrait is contained within a shallow circular incuse square, a technique typical of early western Greek silver coinage. The retrograde Greek ethnic legend ΣΕΓΕΣΤΑΖΙΒ is inscribed around the periphery of the incuse field.
