| Description de l’avers | Facing bust of Emperor Justin II, helmeted with plumed crested helmet adorned with a diadem and pendilia, clad in cuirass with paludamentum, rendered in the frontal hieratic style characteristic of early Byzantine coinage. In the right hand the emperor holds a Victory statuette mounted on a globus, while the left arm bears a large decorated shield. The portrait is bold and stylized, with elongated facial features and strong linear drapery lines reflecting the transition from late Roman to Byzantine artistic conventions. The encircling Latin legend runs along the coin's border within a beaded rim. |

| Description du revers | The enthroned personification of Constantinopolis seated facing, her head turned to the right, depicted in regal attire with a crested helmet, holding a long spear in the right hand and a plain globus in the left. The figure is rendered in a formal, hieratic manner typical of Antiochene mint production under Justin II. The exergue carries the mint mark OB flanked by star-cross-star devices, identifying the issue as a light solidus of 22 siliquae struck at the Theoupolis (Antioch) mint. The reverse legend encircles the field within a beaded border. |
