| Beschrijving voorzijde | Within a raised inner circle, the ornately decorated arms of Zürich — a per pale field with a lion passant — displayed on a baroque cartouche-style shield, superimposed upon the spread wings and body of a crowned imperial eagle. The eagle's heads flank the shield on either side, with the imperial crown visible above. The circumferential Latin legend REIPVB THVRICENSIS runs around the outer field, identifying the issuing republic. |
