| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field bears the honorific Arabic legend of the Imam al-Mutawakkil 'ala Allah, rendered in a fluid, cursive Naskh script typical of Yemeni Zaidi hammered coinage of the 17th century. The inscription is the principal design element, occupying the full flan with no border or decorative framing. The irregular flan edges and characteristic surface texture reflect the hand-struck hammered technique employed at the Sana'a mint. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field carries a multi-line Arabic inscription in cursive Naskh script, reading from bottom to top: 'Sana [year] 1079, struck in Sana'a, may his victory be glorious.' The mint name Sana'a (صنعا) and the Hijri date 1079 are clearly integrated within the legend. The flat, irregular flan and weak strike at the periphery are consistent with the hammered production methods of the Zaidi Imamate mint. No border or ornamental devices are present. |
