| Popis rubu | Central field carries a multi-line Arabic inscription in cursive Naskh script, reading from bottom to top: 'Sana [year] 1079, struck in Sana'a, may his victory be glorious.' The mint name Sana'a (صنعا) and the Hijri date 1079 are clearly integrated within the legend. The flat, irregular flan and weak strike at the periphery are consistent with the hammered production methods of the Zaidi Imamate mint. No border or ornamental devices are present. |
