| Obverse description | Crude Arabic inscription in the central field giving the ruler's name, Ibrahim Shah, positioned below an ornamental knot or tugh device. The legend is rendered in a bold, heavily stylized Naskh-influenced script typical of Kashmir Sultanate coinage. The field is flat and unadorned, with the inscription occupying the majority of the flan. The coin exhibits the characteristically irregular, hand-struck fabric common to hammered copper issues of the period. |
