The lettering is rendered in a simplified, provincial Naskh style consistent with mid-sixteenth-century Kashmir Sultanate copper coinage. The inscription fills most of the flan with little border ornamentation. The surface shows the characteristic roughness and uneven strike typical of hammered copper kaserahs of this issuer. |
