Reverse description Central field bearing a four-line Arabic inscription arranged horizontally within a circular border; the legend is enclosed by a beaded or rope-pattern border forming the rim. The epigraphy is characteristic of the Naskh-influenced die-cutting used on late Ghurid billon issues, with the text disposed in stacked lines filling the inner circle. The flan is irregularly shaped and slightly clipped, as is typical for hammered jitals of this period, with the reverse design incompletely centered.
