| Reverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Nagari inscription arranged in three or four registers, recording the sultan's name and a Vikrama Samvat date (1283 VS, corresponding to 1227 CE). The Nagari characters are boldly incused, filling the flan within a partial inner border. A further Nagari marginal legend surrounds the central text, completing the royal titulature. The overall execution is characteristic of the transitional Indo-Muslim coinage style that blended Arabic and Indic epigraphic traditions on a single coin. |
