| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged in horizontal registers across the field, typical of Ghaznavid-influenced Islamic coinage. The legend, rendered in a cursive Naskh-style Arabic script, is divided into two or three registers by linear dividing lines. A Nagari character or symbol appears in the lower portion of the field, reflecting the syncretic epigraphic tradition of coinage produced at the Ghazna mint. The flan edges are irregular, as expected of a hand-struck billon jital. The overall layout follows conventions established in the regional coinage of the eastern Chagatai territories. |
